UTV Roll Cage Sizes & Types

There are quite a few different UTVs and side-by-sides out there with different types and sizes of roll cages. When choosing accessories that attach to the roll cage it is important to know the diameter of your side-by-side's roll cage. Below is a list of the most popular UTV make and models along with their respective roll cage diameters.

UTV Roll Cage Types

There are two kinds of roll cages or ROPS found on UTVs, which include round cages and profile cages. Round cages use typical steel tube to form the roll cage. This is by far the most common roll cage found on UTVs. The second type of roll cage is a profile or Pro-Fit cage found on just a handful of UTVs listed below. A profile cage is not round but rather has a channel stamped into it with a flat surface making mounting accessories like windshields super easy. This channel also provides a very snug fit. It is important to note that some profile cages, such as the Polaris General, also have round steel tube cross tubes such as the one above the driver where a rearview mirror can be mounted. So be sure to check your entire roll cage. When choosing some accessories it is important to know the kind of roll cage is on your UTV.
