    Here we are at new model time with the 2023 Polaris General family being no exception. In fact, there have been some changes to the 2023 Polaris General family that seem fairly significant upon further examination. It appears that Polaris is on a march to retire the majority of the 60-inch General 1000 models in favor of having the General lineup primarily be made up of the XP 1000 64-inch models.     This recall involves certain VINs of the following Polaris recreational off-road vehicles: model year 2021 RZR TURBO S Velocity, RZR TURBO S 4 Velocity, RZR XP Turbo and RZR XP 4 Turbo; model year 2020-2022 RZR XP 1000 and model year 2021-2022 RZR XP 4 1000. This recall also involves certain VINs of the following Polaris recreational off-road vehicles: model year 2021-2022 GENERAL 1000 and GENERAL XP 1000; model year 2022 GENERAL 4 1000 and model year 2020-2022 GENERAL XP 4 1000.

    It is hard to believe that the General was introduced in 2016 making it six years old. The Polaris General was Polaris’ first official foray into the rec/utility segment, which at the time was held firmly and soley by the Can-Am Commander.
