Polaris has spent nearly two decades pushing the performance side-by-side category forward, and for 2027 it is taking another significant step with the introduction of the all-new RZR Pro R Boost. The big news is right there in the name: Polaris has added turbocharging to its 2.0-liter ProStar Fury engine, pushing output to an incredible 275 horsepower.
But there is a lot more going on here than simply bolting a turbo onto the existing Pro R. Polaris has upgraded the cooling system, clutching, transmission, front drive system, half shafts and other driveline components to deal with the additional power. Throw in new suspension technology on the Ultra trim, Apple CarPlay compatibility and both two- and four-seat configurations, and the RZR Pro R Boost looks like one of the biggest performance updates to the RZR lineup in years.
