Polaris introduced the Ranger XP Kinetic this year which is Polaris' first real forray into the modern electric UTV. The Ranger XP Kinetic is engineered to do everything any other fullsize Ranger can do with the same level of durability. To show off the Ranger XP Kinetic, Polaris has created a web series called To The Test where well-known people put the Ranger XP Kinetic to the test in their field of work. Episode 2 of To The Test just dropped featuring the Diesel Brothers using the Ranger XP Kinetic on recovery missions. Give it a watch.
Here we are at new model time with the 2023 Polaris General family being no exception. In fact, there have been some changes to the 2023 Polaris General family that seem fairly significant upon further examination. It appears that Polaris is on a march to retire the majority of the 60-inch General 1000 models in favor of having the General lineup primarily be made up of the XP 1000 64-inch models. For 2023 there is only one 60-inch General model with the General 1000 Sport model which is billed as an entry level model, but it is chock full of premium features including a grille-guard and roof. Though we have never seen the numbers it makes sense that most people most likely want the General XP 1000 models. There are also no General 4 1000 models to be found. Polaris has now added a new entry-level General XP 1000 Sport model to make the XP 1000 models more accessible from a price perspective.

It is that time of the year when next year’s models abound with Polaris being no exception. Polaris recently announced the introduction of the initial batch of 2023 Polaris RZR models. What has changed for 2023 in the Polaris RZR lineup you might ask. In a single word: Colors. Yep, that is it. There are no updates, new models, or new features. This is not a big surprise considering Polaris blew out the industry with the release of both the Polaris RZR Pro R and RZR Turbo R families earlier this year. Polaris has not indicated what limited edition or special edition models will be coming this year as of yet. Also, noticeably absent is both the RS1 and RZR 570. Here is what you need to know.

Honda made a bit of a surprise announcement with the introduction of a brand new model with the Pioneer 1000-6 Deluxe Crew. At first glance it is everything one would expect it to be including all the capabilities of the Pioneer 1000 with room for 6. That is a solid assumption which turns out to be pretty darn accurate. Unlike the Pioneer 1000-5, the Pioneer 1000-6 Deluxe Crew has a full size second row of seats in addition to the rear cargo bed. There are a handful of additional features not seen on a Pioneer 1000 previously such as the obvious room for six, a Tow/Haul mode, a cargo bed DC outlet, Here is what you want to know.
Honda finally released its 2022 lineup of Talon sport side-by-sides (it’s about time). There are no “new” models for this year but there have been some updates worth noting that improves upon the overall Honda Talon sport side-by-side.
It has been a long time coming since the release of the KRX 1000, but today we welcome the new 4-seat KRX4 1000. As you can see from the photos that the KRX4 1000 is capable of taking 4 people along on an off-road adventure in comfort with high-back seats, half-doors, plenty of legroom, and the off-road chops to pretty much go anywhere. Looking at the specs, if a KRX 1000 can go there then the KRX4 1000 can go there also. Same 999cc engine, transmission, and drivetrain goodies adorn the KRX4 1000 with travel numbers that include 18-inches of travel up front and 21-inches of travel in the rear.
Kawasaki Teryx KRX4 1000 Details & Features Video
The KRX4 1000 is offered in three different trim levels with two of them sporting the eS suspension on its resume, which is Kawasaki’s FOX Live Valve suspension setup (KECS) that dynamically adjusts itself to the terrain is near-real time based upon the what the KRX4 1000 is doing at any given time. This system can be easily set with a switch to Normal, Firm, and Soft settings by the driver. There is also the Teryx KRX 1000 SE model that doesn’t sport the eS Live Valve suspension but has FOX 2.5 PODIUM LSC shocks complete with 24-way compression damping settings. The eS models have a 7-inch TFT color instrumentation screen that is pretty sharp, while the non ES model has a fully electronic instrumentation screen.

We are really excited to finally see the
We love new things here at ATV ESCAPE, especially new side-by-sides. Clearly based upon the picture there is a brand spanking new Kawasaki side-by-side coming June 6th, and it looks like, based upon the dimsensions and body style that it is a four-seat Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000. Might it be named a Kawasaki Teryx4 KRX 1000 or maybe Kawasaki Teryx KRX4 1000? We don't know yet, but we will soon. Be sure to check in with us on June 6th to see what this new Kawasaki might be. The video teaser below is what Kawasaki has released so far.
Kawasaki announced many of its 2023 models in mid May with most models returning with no real changes other than colors for the 2023 model year in the Brute Force lineup. There was a "new" model announced with the addition of the 2023 Teryx4 S Special Edition. More models are to be announced June 7th, and it looks like some more side-by-sides are on that list. Below is a breakdown of the 2023 Models that have been revealed so far.
There is really only one "new model" to the Teryx4 models and that model is the Teryx4 S LE. Though the stats are the same for previous and current year's Teryx S models, the package includes a perimum high-grade audio system with 4 speakers, a 160 watt internal amp with a compact AM/FM/Bluetoooth/USB stero unit, a WARN 3500LB winch, tri-tone seats, and special colors and graphics. The rest of the models are the same as previous years with no real changes other than color and graphics. It is interesting to note that so far in these releases Kawasaki has dropped a mid and top trim models in the original suspension width non-S models and moved to mid to top trim models in the S models only. The only available model with 60-inch original width is in the base models.
There are no changes to the KRX 1000 models to speak of so far for 2023. It looks like that will change on June 6th when Kawasaki announces what looks to be a Teryx KRX 1000 4-Seat model, so we will see. There are of course color and graphic changes for 2023. Same 999cc parallel-twin engine, 14.8 inches of ground clearance, dual-a-arm front suspension and 4-link trailing-arm rear suspension, and overall heavy duty build. This is one of our favorite pure sport side-by-sides.
